The aim of the project is to introduce and involve the EVS volunteers into the programs run by the organization INEX-SDA and its everyday life and give them an opportunity for a development of both personal and professional skills connected with planning, organizing and creation of activities within a broad range of projects. INEX-SDA will host 1 volunteer for this project from Slovenia. The activity starts on 01 of February 2016 and will last 12 months. The volunteer will work on tasks that are connected with two main sections – International Volunteering and Development Education. Volunteer will be involved in the activities of our project “Football for development”. Thanks to its enourmous popularity and social-integrating potential, football is used as a tool for promoting education for development and work with youngsters from different backgrounds.The objective of the project is to contribute towards inclusive society, where all people’s rights are respected and fulfilled. Football for Development is a sports-educative project in the field of global education focusing on developing civic competences of children and youth outside of the formal education. The sport educational program focuses on children and youth consists of global education seminars for multipliers, fair play football tournaments and cultural events with the cooperation youth organizations outside of the formal education system. Its peak lies in the raising-awareness tour of international youth football team of ambassadors across the Czech Republic where our EVS volunteer is involved during the whole project.During the whole year she will also work with ex-volunteers and organize special events for dissemination of the idea of volunteering and international mobility. The volunteer will have a space and support to develop her own project.
