25 participants from 18 to 25 years old with six leaders will come from Italy, Latvia, Turkey, Hungary and France to meet and share on the theme of food and nutrition. This project aims to raise awareness of the impact of our daily diet on the environment and on ourselves.
Accommodation will be in a small Eco Friendly campsite in the south of France for 10 days in october.
Some of the participants come from geographically or socially disadvantaged environment. Most participants are no longer in school and they are looking for a job
Activities will provide access on information, increase consciousness and raise awareness of how far food is travelling before arriving on our plates and about its impact on our health depending on its production chain. Participants will be encouraged to think about their impact before consuming keeping in mind consequences of their choices.
Participants will ideally gain knowledge, change their attitudes and aquire practical skills needed to eat better but also to participate in a responsible and effective way to sustainable development.
At the end of the project, participants will prepare a condensed disseminating information in their language to try to educate people around them to eat differently, and consciously .
On the last day, a formal presentation will be organized for the local population and the participants will organize a buffet with organic and ecological products for residents
