We have decided to implement this project because we want to strengthen relations among European regions that have minimal cultural contacts. Mutual understanding will strengthen Central European identity, which is a major source of European identity. The project aims towards the increase of interest and developing awareness of the diversity and similarities of European cultures. Knowledge of other countries, nations and cultures increases the level of human tolerance, reduces fear of the unknown, suppresses stereotypes and prejudices and is therefore effective prevention of xenophobia and racial hatred. The positive impact is deeper particularly among children and youth. Joint meeting of people of different experience, different ages and nationalities, and their mutual communication will help to remove the intellectual and cultural barriers and differences. We want to promote active European citizenship and lifelong desire to "learn" through the project. The aim of the project is teamwork and cooperation of Czech, Polish and German students in schools in Dvůr Králové nad Labem, in Leszno and Bavarian Herrieden associated with the development of personal and social skills. The objective of the project is to increase awareness of European cultural heritage, which work J. A. Comenius and his influence on European school systems undoubtedly is. Project activities will be directed at the area of education, language and culture, and will be preceded by the personality of John Amos Comenius. At the same time, the project aims to highlight the differences in the education system in the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. Activities will include the collection of information from available sources, data acquisition of the target areas, planning trips (mobility) and evaluation of the project. We want to build strong relationships among students and schools that will not end with the end of the project. We want to establish contacts and personal friendships that will last beyond the project.
