The project Fit2Youth will be implemented in Sárospatak, with the cooperation of Association of Intercultural Communities, Romania, Patrónus, Slovakia and Regionális Ifjúsági Szolgáltató Központ, Hungary.The project aims to bring young people closer to the outdoor activities, sports and to healthy eating. Furthermore the program aims to provide a theoretical knowledge as well by presenting the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The participants will pass on the competences, abilities and knowledge acquired during the project, taking the results of the project further.30 young people will be involved in the program, 10 from Romania, 10 from Slovakia and 10 from Hungary, aged 18-25, who are interested in the topic of the project. The project pays attention to the equality between sexes, and also to the inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities.The overall objective of the project: promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle among young people by introducing them to the advantages of outdoor activities and healthy food. The project's specific objectives: presenting the benefits of natural and healthy food, sports and outdoor activities to the youth, encouraging our target group to live a healthy life by creating promotional material (photos, video); developing the abilities and competences of the participants in an intercultural context, promoting non-formal and informal education among the participants.The implementation of the project is based on non-formal learning methods, on performances, sports activities , presentations, team-building games , intercultural activities .The expected results include the competencies and skills that are acquired during the project by the young people, and the tangible results of the project : photos, videos to ensure that other young people can get the message of the project. The impact of the project is increased by multiplying the results, so the project will be sustainable in long term: creating different materials, sharing the used learning methods will all increase the impact of the project.
