The main aim of the project was to support new initiatives and improve the quality of youth work through sharing knowledge, experience and good practice between two non-governmental organizations. The project title, FINE Youth Work, includes acronym. The meaning of it shows what we would liked to focus on during the project. F - finding new solutions I - improving skills N - non-formal education E - exchanging experience The objectives of this project were: - to improve the quality of the youth work in the organizations - to share experience and good practice between organizations - to expand knowledge of methods of youth work, specifically about work with socially excluded youngsters - to teach youth workers how to organize effective projects for youth - to improve skills of youth workers which are needed to successful cooperation with youngsters - to develop partnership between organizations To achieve our objectives we used non-formal education methods, mostly learning by practice. The main activity of the project is a study visit in SVC Decko for one young youth worker from Bona Fides. She has experienced economical obstacles. She was willing to gain a competences and improve her skills in the field of youth work. During the study visit she accompanied youth workers from SVC Decko in their daily work. She explored the work of organization, supported preparation of activities for youngsters with fewer opportunities, carried out her own initiatives. The most important impact on the participant was gaining experience in the area of youth work, specifically how to work on social inclusion of youngsters with different obstacles. The daily work with youth helped her to get to know better problems and needs of excluded youngsters. She also got to know how to use different methods and tools in this kind of work, how to organize an effective and attractive youth projects and how to encourage young people to take part in it. The project had also effect on youngsters in the regions of organizations. Thanks to the project they had opportunity to take part in good quality activities which helped them to overcome obstacles and to develop themselves. For them the main impact is willingness to face their problems, trust to youth workers, sense of security, active attitude. We also carried out dissemination activities to spread informations about innovative methods in youth work and our experience in the field of social inclusion.
