"Fight for your rights!" is youth exchange project, which will last from 1st of August 2016 till 31st of January 2017.Youth exchange will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania from 6th till 11th of October 2016 (plus 1 travel day).Participating countries: Lithuania, Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia. Number of participants 29 (6 participants per country plus group leaders). Participants will include youngsters with fewer opportunities: economical obstacles, disability (deaf or hard-hearing) or being a refugee. Project's topic is human rights and individual everyone's rights which we are facing in every day life. Main objectives of this project are going to be:- to inspire young people to have interest in their individual rights and to fight for them if they are violated- to raise awareness about how people with fewer opportunities integrate into society (as they supposed to have equal rights as everyone else)- to promote Erasmus+ programme and its goals.Project activities will include ice-breaking and team-bulding, much attention will be paided for Youthpass and growing self-awareness about learning process. Getting deeper into topic, participants will have prepared research about human rights and overall citizen / customer / worker rights in their country and most usual situations in every day life, then these rights are violated. Analysing this topic will include free discussion, sharing experiences and trying to become aware how youngsters with fewer opportunities feel they equal rights and how to they integrate into society. Project's programme will also include case analysis about refugee crisis and gender equality. Participants will have study visit to Human rights centre of Lithuania and all Human rights centres of participating countries will be informed about project and its activities. Project will continue with forum theatre activties and analysing situations then youngsters were incapable to stand for themselves although being treated unfair, or did nothing just because didn't realise about all the unfairness. Creative workshop in exchange will be dedicated for creating original ideas how to inspire youngsters to take stand for themselves and to be interested about their own rights. After dissemnation plan and Youthpass valuations we will have practical dissemination period during which participants will implement their created plans and partner organisations will spread the message through their networks. We believe that this project is contributing to overall well-being of Europe's society, helping youngsters to integrate and implementing Erasmus+ programme's goals.
