Project "Feel the Real Europe" was created in collaboration with young people from partner organizations from Turkey, Italy, Romania and Poland. Our project consisted of following activities: 1. preparatory phase and APV, which took place in Poronin (village near to Zakopane) from 11th to 12th of March 2016; 2. general phase - youth exchange - which took place in Poronin from 1st to 8th of April 2016. The youth exchange was attended by 32 participants (7 people and 1 leader in national team) aged 16-24 years; 3. evaluation and dissemination of results.The main aim of our project was to deepen participants' knowledge of topics related to democracy, European Union and mechanisms, European awareness and citizenship. Participants gained skills in journalism, creating during the project european magazine "transparent HORIZONS" within which they were able to publish their own articles, interview, reports etc.The combinations of these two pillars gave our groups more opportunities to meet their needs. Young people not only gained new knowledge and skills on these two fields, but they became more creative. Youngsters have learnt to express their opinions, to take the initiative and became more open to new challenges. Through the implementation of our project we stimulated young people's initiative, creativity and active social behaviors. The project was also based on cooperation in an international environment and to improve their language skills. Whole project was based on non-formal education methods. We used tools such as workshops, meetings with experts, team work, evaluations, national evenings, discussions, presentations, brainstorming etc.
