PROJECT OBJECTIVES 1. Raising awareness of 26 young Romanians and about gambling addiction-the situation in targetcommunities, risk factors, signs, complications,prevention, and treatment possibilities, the current legislation in the two countries and at european level 2. Development , in 26 young Romanians and Bulgarians, of skills realization of non-formal educational activities in order to develop among young people protection behaviours towards gambling addiction 3. Raising awareness of 1000 people to support the involvement and co-operation of authorities and civil society for the implementation of real measures of protection of minors and for diversifying sports/recreational/aristic activities as alternatives to gambling addiction 4. Strengthening the skills of young Romanians and Bulgarians by carrying out peer education activities relating to the avoidance of high risk behaviors for gambling addiction, involving800 beneficiaries as young Romanians and Bulgarians(including youth with reduced opportunities) The main activities of the project are two Youth Exchanges, in Bulgaria and Romania, programme countries Organizing teams in Bulgaria and Romania Launching of the project Liguistic, theme- related preparation A1-mobility in Bulgaria over a period of 6 days Research A2-mobility in Romania over a period of 8 days Dissemination- the transfer of competences acquired by young people through the development of peer education sessions, involving other 1000 young people from Romania, Bulgaria Awareness campaigns Working methods used in the project will be those of non-formal education : - Brainstorming , presentations, lectures , demonstrations , debates , surveys, dialogue , interviews, open questions , analysis, introspection , ordering and definition exercises , energizing games / ice breakers the living library, public Café. All these methods help to streamline the learning process.
