Further education for youth mentors 2014 "When it becomes difficult: let change happen" Facilitator training for crisis accompaniment of youths is open for youth workers, who want to deepen their consulting competence, for persons engaged in voluntary youth work, wanting to build up a consulting competence (from 18 years on) and for the youth mentors who took part in our Youth mentor trainings between 2006 and 2013. The training will take in the Mattighofen, Austria (50 km in northern direction from Salzburg) and will be guided by Dr. Helga Weule and Manfred Weule M.A., Institute consciousness strategies and Adventure life association and by the assistants of youth mentors association Adventure life. By this training we aim at practicing the accompaniment of others in crisis in an empathic and determined way, strengthening the competence of problem solving and self responsibility, increasing the possibilities to express inner processes by a mentor, sharpening the perception and reintegration of views projected onto the outside, sharing and developing new ideas for the practice of youth work. We will use these methods: Gestalt work following Paul Rebillot (Gestalt therapist and developer of Heros' journey process) and systemic consulting, body work, exercises of perception and expression, work on own topics in triad groups with facilitator and double, video based analysis and feed-back circles.
