in this project, we want to send a french young EVS volunteer from Redon's district to a children center in Yerevan, Armenia. The centre provides services to the neglected children in Ajapnyak district of Yerevan city since 2005. The centre services are children between 6-18 years of age. On average 100 and more children are receiving services in the centre. The number of children taking advantage of the centre’s services fluctuates daily based on need. The main differentiating feature of our centre is that we strive to observe the child and his/her behaviour within the family and various social contexts. This is important in order to assist the each child on an individual basis. The children day care centre wants to offer international volunteers an interesting and diverse field of activities, working with children, and offer the children an opportunity of intercultural learning together with the volunteers. With the help of the EVS volunteers the organisation will be able to organize more children and youth activities, discussions. Also, the volunteers will have possibility to be involved in discussions with the employees of the centre and will be able to share their opinion. The volunteer will be adjoined to the working schedule of the pedagogical staff according to their motivations and abilities. He will participate in discussions of the pedagogical staff of the centre. On his return back to our small town of Redon, the volunteer will be able to share his experience about daily work in this children's center, and about the day-to-day life in a capital city and of an Eastern country.
