The project focuses on the exploratory research on the opportunities to increase the life time and efficient recycling of the active components of agricultural equipments, used in the plain area with sand soils.The main activities are the following: project management, communication, professional team work with internal experts, development of iron-based alloys, development of prototypes; development of a technology for the deposition of wear resistant layers for the rehabilitation of active parts from agriculture equipment, development of new laboratory. The main activity is speeded wearing of coating with different technological parameters (different surfaces and different soils) in the developed laboratory. 12 researchers and spin-off R+D organizations take part in the cross-border research. Its result is a substrate which adapts to the region's soil characteristics. The project serves economic development in the rural, bordering area. The number of joint research results is 3 (coating, alloy, technology). In Szeged a new laboratory was established.The direct beneficiaries of the project are those research institutes, scientific experts, university students and persons, trainees involved in the research who can gain valuable professional experience from the research and whose professional career is supported by the research.Project result: 3 joint research results is 3 (coating, alloy, technology), 1 new laboratory established.
