The students who take part in the project are currently being educated in technical branches and in the future they will work in service and industry as technicians of automatic systems control, maintenance and control of mechatronics devices, electronic devices installation, maintenance of computer systems and networks, automobile electronic systems diagnosis, lighting systems design. At present the students study theoretical subjects at ZSME and labs classes and practical part of technical education take place in Tarnowskie Centrum Kształcenia Praktycznego. Our students study to become:
- mechatronics technician
- mechanic
- electronics technician
- electrician
- information technology technician
The students who will take part in the project will be at least second year’s students so they will have basic professional experience which should include work planning and organisation as well as results analysis.
The international context of professional competence must be emphasised. There are many service technicians who work abroad. That is why the proper knowledge of vocational foreign language is essential.
The main aims of the project are to get to know other education systems and work organisation in different companies, to acquire new qualifications and skills as well as to gather new experience concerning functioning in new environment. In the future it will boost the professional opportunities of the students taking part in the project, especially in international companies and it will improve their mobility.
Another aim of the project is to establish long- term partnership between schools and companies, and in the future to allow students to stay abroad, improve qualifications and exchange experience. The students will get certificates and confirmations that will prove their international exchange participation.
