The aim of the project was to contribute to the improvement of the generaleconomic situation of the border region through the utilisation of the assets andtourism opportunities offered by the Nature Park, to enable the organisationspossessing this asset to exploit the economic and cultural possibilities offered by thenatural environment, thus to reduce the economic lag on both sides of the border. Thefunding helped the creation of an economic and institutional environment that willlead to an increase in the number of competitive businesses making use of the tourismopportunities, it will also support the development of existing businesses, and thus theoverall effect will be the improvement of the employment rate.
