Concerning this exchange programme Exchanging of European internshipsExchanging of European internships and intercultural exchanges and experiences for business students as a project (preparation - planning - realisation and evaluation) Improving of life-long skills we want to give our students which decided for the subjects foreign language and business communication the possibility to do a three-weeks placement in different London business companies and to gain work experience as well as language skills and to get to know another culture more closely so that they are sensibilized for cultural understanding and mutual learning.Nowadays it is an utmost concern to sensitize our students in tolerance, respect for the different, human rights and the awareness of a united Europe. Due to the fact that we are a school with many students of multicultural background we are especially interested in this exchanging programme. This partnership is about exchanging different economic and cultural interests of the participants. The students will be involved with activities that will broaden their mind`s concerning different cultures, economic and daily-life and working routine by doing this internships and the care of the ADC trainers. They will develop their language as well as their professional, social and personal competencies by working abroad. We are looking forward to expand our knowledge about the partner countries. We will exchange ideas about pedagogical approaches and we are very interested to give our students the possibility to expand their knowledge on participating in this "real" project. In the first run from the 25th July 2016 to the 13th August 2016 and in the second run from the 4th tho the 26th of June in 2017 a number of 25 participants each run will join an exchange programme that is guided by the ADC College in London. The participants will take part in an English course and will do a practical training. There the students can learn how to work in a business company in London. They can boost their competencies in language, personal and gain work and living experience in a foreign country. They write a report of their exchange programme and back in Germany they present their results as a project folder of about 20 pages which is graded and present their exchange programme with a power point presentation (also graded) to the teachers and class. Moreover the reports could be read on our homepage, in local newspapers and in our school newspaper LESSON. On the day of the open door the students present this exchange programme to our visitors and give in insight of their exchange work abroad. With the questionnaires before and after the project we like to evaluate the programme and like to improve this exchange for the next run.As a long time goal we hope to establish a long-term exchange partnership with the ADC college so that we can give our students the possibility to do this internships of exchange every year again which boosts the overall experiences and skills of our students and with this international work we as the teachers learn to improve our teaching skills and stay up to date with business and language work.
