15 students from Baku, Azerbaijan, and 2 EVS volunteers from Italy will act through 10 month, in the same working group addressing environmental and MDG issues.The project aims to:• Raise awareness of the vital importance of the forest heritage at personal, social, economical and ecological level, and learning to know it, to value it and to protect it.• Organize activities that promote inclusion, interaction and mutual understanding, through involvement with the local community of the volunteers;Through a series of activities like:• preparation of environmental actions,• organizing various enlightenment activities,• preparing new ecological projects, programmers, campaigns,• fundraising for these actions• discussions and debates in universities according to the ecological problems;• ecological photo tours;• photo competitions; fares and etc.The main role of the volunteer will be to bring an added value to the work of the environmental issues in Baku.
