The ESV AKA Activism project aim is to create a network of volunteers / activists at national and international level, that pursues and continue REDE goals. That is, the promotion of gender equality through advocacy and activism actions. The project will be divided into two phases, the first being the construction of the group itself and the second the promotion of it. As a first step we build the group of activists with the following tasks: creating a group presentation website (scheduling activities, registration of new members, blog about gender equality issues); group reporting actions, primarily in the Greater Lisbon area (student associations colleges and high schools, sports clubs, etc.) with group presentation sessions and also paper distribution in content; creating a facebook page (also help in disseminating and raising activists); activists training measures (forming the group in the different strands of activism - online and offline). There will be four lines of action, wich are: Line of action 1: preparation of the youth activist/volunteers group (dynamic digital content, building a website and other online social platforms) Line of action 2: attracting new members to the group (team building activities, contact with partners, awareness-raising in order to gain new people) Line of action 3: the promotion of actions (online and offline) that the group, focused on gender equality and minorities, will develop (creativity, logistics work, divided into different lines of action, including, mobilization, preparation materials, fundraising, contact with partners, logistics spaces, online and offline planning, among others) Line of action 4: dissemination and follow-up This project will start in May 2015 and end at September 2016.
