The EVS project “EVS ON AIR” is promoted by three different organization: - the association "Officina Creativa Interculturale" (CO and HO, Italy); - Református Szeretetszolgálat Önkéntes Diakóniai Év Programiroda (SO, Hungary); - the association "Bona Fides" (SO, Poland). The project takes 10 months, from 1 August 2015 to 1 May 2016. The EVS project is created with the intention to stimulate the european active and democratic citizenship in multicultural contexts, doing daily and regular workshops of the Kindergarten, with children from different countries and creating multilingual audio-books, to publish them on a webradio for kids. The project involves two volunteers from Hungary and Poland, interested on intercultural education with children and adults, italians and immigrants. Their service takes 6 months, from1September 2015 to 1 March 2016. The activities, characterized by non formal and informal education as methodology, aim to valorize the different languages, cultures and competences of volunteers and offer them different training and personal inputs, meeting children youngsters and adults from different Countries. The expected results and impact are linked to the spread of active and democratic citizenship, european dimension and multilinguism, among young people, in the local community but also in the international context. The presence of European volunteers will have a positive impact on local children and families. Using ICT in a positive way (audio-books, webradio) will develop the volunteers' digital competences, but will also spread the materials made by volunteers on a webradio, becoming a shared good for the local community and the European one.
