The project " EVS- NET -WORK : part4 " will take place in Asti from December 2014 up to September 2015, for a total duration of 10 months. Asti is a small city of 80,000 inhabitants in the northern part of Italy (Piedmont), worldwild famous for the beauty of its landscapes and food and wine . The city location is ideal to organize small trips for Turin, Genoa and Milan. The involved volunteers will come from Spain, Germany and France. Host organizations will be Vedogiovane Asti and Associazione Progetto Sherwood. Among the general objectives of the project: - Provide an opportunity for intercultural learning - Give European volunteers the opportunity to get involved, by discovering their own limits and resources - Learn about and experience our way of working in the field of “animazione sociale” - Make the presence of European volunteers an opportunity for growth for everyone involved in the project who will have the opportunity to learn , interact and engage with young people from different cultures - Increase for young people who attend our services the opportunity to meet people from different countries , accompanying the process of intercultural exchange and emphasizing the importance of education These are the activities that the European volunteers are going to do: - "Sherbook "library management by Casa del Popolo - Promotion of youth mobility - Kitchen and Bar service during self-financing and fund raising events of the Association Sherwood - Entertainment activities at the curricular and extracurricular school services (after-school activities , workshops ...) - Planning, realization and evaluation of entertainment activities during the summer (summer camps , camping) - Updating the website and fb page of the organizations - Support to the implementation of projects under the Youth Policy (international exchanges, youth initiatives)
