In the project titled ,,EVS as a place of development,entrepreneurship, activity and friendship'' Europejskie Forum Młodzieży will involve 30 young people between age 18-30. This will be mainly the youth with fewer opportunities, that will gain new experience through the short-term and long-term project and also through the work for the local community. The youngsters will also break their personal and launguage barriers. The volunteers will work in EFM office, in the local schools and kindergartens. They will be activating the youngsters and children through games, extracurricular activities, working outside in the green and renovating areas and forest’s paths. The volunteers’ duties will also include helping the hosting organisation in its everyday work. They will introduce local youngsters into their own cultures and traditions during the ”EuroWeek - the Leaders Course” training courses organized by EFM. European Voluntary Service ”teaches” tolerance and understanding for different nations, religions and sexual orientation by gathering together such a big number of young people from different countries. The time they spend together will turn to be priceless because of the friendships made and noticing new perspectives, that are hidden in everyday life situations. Multicultural dialogue and the exchange of information on the actual issues nowadays will appear between the volunteers but also between us and local community. Additional effect of the project will be the increase of the awareness of building an active citizenship and responsibility for being a young citizen of the European Community.
