The background of this EVS prosjevt is based on our experience with our first EVS project in 2014/2015. This was a huge success for all involved partners. We increased our youthwork with new impulses and new ways of thinking, and the volonteers that we hosted at that time also evaluated the project with high score. We want to use this expereince to make a even better one this time. It`s important to us to work for tolerance and respescct for differetn cultures and way of thinking, and we want to do this thriugh activites and events at the youthhouses and through the work Ung i Midtdalen does on a regional level. We want to give the group of youth, the youthworkers the opportunity to:- get to know people and cultures from other countries- to get new ideas and ways of thinking about/solving tasks in the field of youthwork- to be inspired- to be able to give people from other European countries knowledge about the norwegian culture, language and youthwork.For the volonteers we hope that they will get a wider understanding of the youthwork, both preventive and directly in projects and events together with the youth themeselves. The volunteers will also learn about the youthculture in our region and in Norway in general. For sender and hosting organisations the project will give opportunity to share experiences. For everyone involved the project aims to promote tolerance and understanding in general. We would like to host two volonteers, and we`re looking for dedicated and enthusiastic persons who enjoy working with young people anmd in team with other youthworkers. Experience from volunteering in their local society and/or own organsation, either cultural and/or youthwork is of course an advantage, but not necesarry. For the target group and actually all of the participants involved they will get to know about the Erasmus+ and possibilities in this system, and in general get new impulses and competence.The volonteers will follow the same program as the apprentices within the youthwork education. Through this they will gain a broader knowledge with all kinds of youthwork.
