The istitution JugendSozialwerk e.V. plan a european volunteer for twelve months in the kindergarten "Domschlösschen" with a young woman from Czech Republic. Her name is Eliška. The recording project is in Nordhausen near the city centre. The kindergarten is in sponsorship of the JugendSozialwerk Nordhausn e.V. and the JugendSozialwerk e.V. is a member of the Paritätischen Wohlfahrtverband. The 84 children in the kindergarten are devided in 5 groups according to their age. To get to know the structures and work of the Fröbel pedagogy, the european volunteer will be a main part of her work. To become well integrated, a lot of competend people will help her. Eight, most of them are Fröbelpedagogue and motion trainer, support her for an appropriated education and development. Nearly all employees have specific qualifications in intercultural work and diversity-pedagogue. At the same time the kindergarten was one of the Institution, who take part of the project "inercultural education in kindergarten" and since nearly six years it is a motivated partner from the european volunteer system. In addiction to that, the tutor Susanne Ratsfeld can help Eliška with every difficult situation. Mrs. Ruhe is the chief of the institution and the professional instructor. Eliška can also cooperate with some other institutions of the JugendSozialwerk. For that situation Nadja Gropp can support her with connections and ideas. It is our claim to support our european volunteers to work with european topic and to get in contact with Europe. For this, our volunteers can plan public events, be a part of them and get in contact with different kind of people. All in all we reach a sustainability with intensive contacts, evaluations and a lot of further education as well as the described events.
