PROJECT
FINISHED
The Project „European collaboration for quality professional development" has been developed in harmony with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme. The target group is comprised of 20 students in the 11 grade of PGEE doing primary professional training in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Energetics, Electronics, Automation, Communication and Computer Technologies, and Motor Vehicles, Ships and Aircrafts. The latter are representatives of different ethnic groups - Bulgarian and Turkish - and have finished primary technical training. The main objective of the educational system is personal success. In order to become successful, a young person needs to be capable, well-educated and self-motivated to develop and progress professionally. In recent years, numerous Bulgarian enterprises have closed down and others have been using out-dated technologies, therefore the youth tend to lose their faith and see no bright future. The main task of contemporary vocational education and training is increasing students’ motivation, because, in times of crisis, successful realization of the youth tends be more difficult thus making them quit school. This imposes the use of all resources for vocational development and personal advancement of the youth in order to make them more competitive in the labour markets. This project will render better opportunities for the professional training of the students and will reveal new opportunities for realization. It focuses on the acquisition of supplementary practical preparation and the enhancement of the knowledge, skills and competences of the participants in the fields they have chosen for their professional development. Qualified technicians familiar with the models on the basis of which the electrical and electronic control systems of modern cars are built and able to analyse the algorithms of operation in different modes and maintain basic mechatronic components are badly needed. In this respect, practice in Austria will be the grounds for the participants’ personal advancement.Mobility will be held within 3 weeks in the month of July 2017. The host partner is Fachberufsschule Wolfsberg. The elaboration of the project rather than being an objective se is directly related to the school development strategy and the satisfaction of the needs of the students. The main objective of the project is: the acquisition of new knowledge and skills for the improvement of personal development and employment opportunities and the enhancement of the beneficial interaction between formal, non-formal and professional training and the transition to employment and entrepreneurship. The specific objectives of the project are: to provide opportunities for the acquisition of additional professional preparation in the field of automotive electronics and computer diagnostics and professional training in modern companies, where the students will be made familiar with European standards; to render the opportunity to acquire entrepreneurial and adaptation skills in new environments; to render the opportunity to acquire job-finding and competitive skills; to render the opportunity to enrich the ideology and enhance language awareness; to promote exchange of knowledge, skills and experiences and practices; the beneficiaries will be able to become familiar with the culture, lifestyle and traditions of another European country; to create international contacts and form the sense of European citizenship and belonging; to enhance motivation and the perspectives for their future realization; to give equal opportunities for youth training of people belonging to different ethnic groups. Within the period of the practice, participants will obtain professional competences in organizations and companies working mainly in the sphere of automotive and computer and software technologies for diagnostics and control, technology and management of ICT (Fachberufsschule Wolfsberg, BFI Aussbildungsstätte, Bosch Dienst Wolfsberg, St. Andre Technical Academy). They will have the opportunity to create useful contacts and obtain experience in another European country. PGEE has closely established relations with businesses in our municipality and district. Due to the introduction of electronics in automotive controls, there has been an increasing necessity of qualified technicians, who know how to maintain basic mechatronic components. Partnership has an important role both in the preparation of the specialists businesses in the Kardzhali District need and in the new specialties - Automechatronics and Electric Equipment of Means of Transportation. In addition, the project is a step forward to the consolidation of our close partnership with the Fachberufsschule Wolfsberg, which has been our partner for four years now within the Ecomedia Europe partnership network under the Comenius Programme.
