I. Goals of the Project:
• Get foreign language skills by a large number of teachers.
• Obtain a better teaching qualities due to new experiences.
• Learn new methodological solutions.
• Cooperate with other EU schools.
• Propagate foreign languages in our school.
II. Context of the project:
Increasing educational qualities thanks to new and most recent methods or ways of teaching.
III. Number and participants’ profile:
There are eight teachers that take part in this project:
• Two foreign language teachers
• Two teachers who teach both, foreign language and other subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Geography)
• Two teachers of another two subjects that can communicate in English
• Two participants of management who also communicate in English.
IV. Undertaken actions:
• Introduction of foreign language elements to regular school subjects and to some after school classes (CLIL).
• Taking part in various conferences, methodical and language courses.
• Exchanging of experiences and comparison of teaching methods and techniques in European schools.
• Establishing of cooperation with other European schools under Action 2 Program ERASMUS PLUS .
V. Possible results and eventual long-term benefits:
Participation in the project let teachers to: - develop their language skills; - learn about other European educational systems; - allow to cooperate with other teachers from EU. What’s more, taking part in this particular undertaking will: - improve European awareness of both, Polish students and teachers; - extend after school classes offer. Thanks to accession to the Action 2 Program ERASMUS PLUS our pupils will have a chance to make some European contacts and to use their language skills in practice. The project will motivate young people to learn foreign languages and help them to be more tolerant and open to foreigners.
