We are teachers from a small school in a small provincial town . We never participated in any of this type of projects. We identify with our environment . Our students performed poor results in external test. Aim of the project : to develop key competences including language skills. To acquire knowledge about innovative methods and tools (including ICT) work with the students to motivate them to learn, arouse their aspirations . To learn and understand the new education systems. To explore new forms of training courses . Supporting the professional development of teachers. Participants: Teachers from the Primary School in Woźniki . 3- initial education , 1- English teacher, 1- Maths teacher, 1- Polish teacher, 1- headmaster Description of activities : 8 trips . 4 English courses in the UK , Ireland and Malta . 4 methodical training in the UK and Malta . Methodology: workshops, courses , training , joint projects Description of results: - 3 initial education's teachers may carry out extra-curricular activities for children in need of assistance and linguistically gifted - During trainings teachers will learn new methods and tools for working with the student and they will be introduced to our school. That will improve childres' score in test in sixth grade . - 4 e - twinning projects will be carried out - Established cooperation with other foreign schools as part of KA2 Long term benefits : - A higher level of education - The ability to project management - Activation of the teaching profession - support the professional development of teachers - More competent teachers - Wider range of educational school - Promotion of school - it will be perceived outside as the european institution, open to the outside and to new ideas. - More teachers who speak a foreign language, - Through the use of new methods, including ICT, the learning outcomes of students will raise - Cooperation with schools
