The project entails the realisation of two actions in school years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 in which 64 students and 8 teachers from School Complex no 7 from Koszalin, Poland, will be involved.
Action A1 – completion of a 2-week traineeship for 64 students from School Complex no 7 in training centres of the Plant of Promoting Vocational Training of Association of Building Construction Industry of Berlin and Brandenburg in Frankfurt/Oder and Cottbus.
Trip I
One group of 8 students from technical school of building construction will take part in training “Bricklaying craft – the wall in the construction of vaults”
One group of 8 students from vocational school specialising in finishing works in buildings will take part in training “Developing interiors using drywall”
Trip II
One group of 8 students from technical school of landscape architecture will take part in training “Shaping landscapes/gardens” (additional topic – “Small architecture in gardens”)
One group of 8 students from technical school of landscape architecture will take part in training “Designing ways and paths in natural stone and concrete in landscape architecture (additional topic “Visiting German gardens”)
Trip III
One group of 8 students from technical school of digital graphic processes will take part in training within the scope of basics of printing, multimedia techniques (presentations, animations) and digital printing
Trip IV
One group of 8 students from technical school of building construction will take part in training “Bricklaying craft – the wall in the construction of vaults”
One group of 8 students from vocational school specializing in finishing works in buildings will take part in training “Developing interiors using drywall”
Trip V
One group of 8 students from technical school of digital graphic processes will take part in training within the scope of basics of printing, multimedia techniques (presentations, animations) and digital printing.
Action A2 – completion of 1-week training stay for vocational training teachers from School Complex no 7, including the representatives of the managing staff , in ADC College in London within the mobility “Sharing Good practice”
One group of 8 teachers will take part in training on the topic “Vocational training in Great Britain at secondary school level”
Objectives of the project:
1. Raising practical skills of the students within building construction works such as bricklaying, drywall processing, small architecture in gardens, designing and developing gardens, decorative paving as well as digital graphic processes.
2. Creating a dynamic team of teachers in School Complex no 7, characterised by engagement and professionalism.
3. Raising the attractiveness, quality and effectiveness of vocational training in School Complex no 7 through internationalizing the educational process and enriching teaching syllabuses with innovative elements.
4. Making possible for the participants to receive the certificate Europass-Mobility as well as other certificates and in this way adding to the improvement of the level of clarity and recognition of qualifications within the European Union.
5. Preparing and training graduates who will be competitive on the local, domestic and international job market, equipped in necessary vocational and social skills.
6. Raising language skills in the students and teachers within the scope of foreign languages.
7. Developing the habit of “lifelong learning “ in the project participants (students and teachers).
8. Raising intercultural competences in the participants.
9. Gaining new professional experiences by the teaching staff and the raise in their competences connected with particular training profiles, including the ability to manage a school in case of the managing staff.
10. Better comprehension of practices, strategies and systems in the field of training and education systems in various countries of the European Union.
The expected results of the project are as follows: transfer of innovation from the German and British vocational training market, gaining and raising key competences by the participants from School Complex no 7 within such trades as technician of building construction, technician of landscape architecture, technician of digital graphic processes and technologist of finishing works in buildings as well as developing in the participants the attitude of openness towards taking up jobs and in-service training courses not only in their home country but also abroad.
