The project European Youth Week our future is in our hands is a part of celebrating European Youth Week in Europe. The main aim of the project is creating a platform for youth from our region to share in the fields: Unemployment and youth employment, Aligning development opportunities of youth with fewer opportunities, Volunteering – between education and work, Active participation of youth in community life, Impact and effects of Youth in action Programme. We would like to jointly consider what youth policy is and how youth can influence on it. Our aim is to popularize active citizenship and participation in community life.We are going to organize two main activities: debates of youth and decision-makers, experts and politicians and out-door event – Youth project gallery called Young eye on Europe. Additionally we plan to organize a few smaller actions that fulfill the Week: radio programs, contest on Facebook and in radio, trainings about European Voluntary Service. The results of the project will be the publication and the video about celebrating European Youth Week in L“wiAStokrzyskie region.We strongly believe that the project will give young people better opportunities, enhance their chances in life and improve their life conditions, change for better the places they live in, study and where they are active. We also expect it will make young people to be more active in their local environments.
