The group of 55 students will take part in an educational project. The group consists of 20 students from Basic Vocational School, who attend hairdressers and chefs profile as well as 35 students from Technical School: feeding and catering technician (15 students), catering technician (10 students) and hairdresser technician (10 students). The table below presents a number of groups and a profile. GROUP I Hairdresser (Basic Vocational School) 10 students GROUP II Chef (Basic Vocational School) 10 students GROUP III Hairdresser technician 10 students GROUP IV Catering technician 10 students GROUP V Feeding and catering technician 15 students The realization of the project is expected to be done in a period of 14 months, from 1st June 2014 to August 2015. Participants will take part in two-weeks training in Stredni Skola Obchodu remesel a Slużeb in Żamberku and in Stredni Obchodu a Slużeb in Lanskroun. Those centres are focused on vocational education, training and improving vocational qualifications in service industry (hairdressers) and catering industry. They own modern engines, devices and work places to learn given trade. Placement will be taken as a part of practice placement for Technical Students and as a part of training classes for vocational students. Each group of participants will be under counselor care. The educational project has been prepared in a cooperation with the organizations of local employers, who has delivered interesting and useful points of view and ideas concerning the programme. The main training aim is to upskill and achieve new skills in the range of hairdressing trade, gastronomical one in the case of chef job on the level of vocational school and technical: catering organizer, feeding and catering organizer and hairdressing service. Students will get to know the newest technological devices and material innovations as well as modern devices and accessories used to fulfill basic tasks connected with trades mentioned above. Training participants will have opportunities to work with accessories, devices and engines; perform range of decorative techniques connected with haircutting and styling as well as traditional Czech cuisine and cooking techniques. Moreover, one of the aim of the training is to improve student’s language skills both Czech and English in the case of speaking and knowing basic terminology as well as getting to know new culture, habits and tourists attractions of Prague and Pordubic. Certificates will be the form of confirmation of gained sills. Those certificates become additional strength in the process of looking for work at European labour market. Participants will gain new qualifications. Due to new vocational and cross-cultural experiences teenagers strengthen their qualifications, character and increase the chance to be employed in the service industry (hairdressers) and catering one, both in our country and abroad. Taking part in such project will cause the increase in teenager’s social mobility, who become more competitive at local and foreign labour market. The realization of project will also cause the increase of vocational education at school and its promotion in local area. As a sending institution we ensure a wide promotion of programme’s ideas, in the way of: a website, local media publications and Erasmus+ Day. We also ensure a high quality of the project. The training participants will gain both vocational and cultural qualifications and experience as well as knowledge and skills which help them in the process of developing their employment experiences. Students become more flexible and competitive at labour market too. Training in the Czech Republic enables to develop not only qualifications but also social, personal and cultural competences together with language skills, which are essential these days. At the end of training, students will receive some certificates, which confirmed gained skills.
