The project aim is to improve youth workers’ qualifications with a view to: a) offering them greater mobility within Europe; b) helping to make their professional qualifications more transparent, and c) offering possibilities for transfer between different types of job in the sector. The plan is to introduce a European qualification based on a set of training (including e-learning) guidelines and a transnational system of joint certification. The training course – to be integrated into existing basic training – will have three components: training placements abroad; study of European social issues; and the joint production by students from different countries of research work for submission to an international assessment panel.
