Partners of the consortium are Kouvola Region Vocational College from Kouvola and Salpaus Further Education and Lahti Diaconia Institute from Lahti. Kouvola Region Vocational College will coordinate the project. The aim of the project is to start a new national and international network in the field of social and health care. The project will be carried out 2015-2016.
Organizations are situated in the same local area, in southern Finland. All of the Finnish partners have invited their partners form other European countries. The partners come from Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Malta.
The aim of the project is to start a new national and international network in the field of social and health care. In the frames of the network all the participants can share best practises, skills and competencies and to develope the students' and teachers' vocational competence. Organizations involved in the project will raise the quality of their education and training.
During this project 30 Finnish students and 16 teachers of social and health care will perform a workpalcement period or a job-shadowing period in another European country. The aim of the periods abroad is to learn to work in a multicultural working environment, to face a client, patient or a colleague from another culture. The other aims are to familiarize with safety at work, safety protection, aseptic and hygienic working methods in the partner country. The results of the projects will be publishesd on the web sites of the organizations taking part in the project.
