The goal of the project is to create an Internet platform for distance education within the forestry sector. The target group is defined as students in the vocational training / forest workers and vocational teachers in forestry/forest owners. Pilot courses are planned. Based on European needs present in each partner country the partnerships' aim is create a European Network of knowledge for high quality education given via Internet. The planned cooperation in e-learning covers Sweden, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, The Czech Republic, Scotland and Spain. Inventory of the forest education content offered by schools on several levels should contribute to a common, standardized educational market place and in this manner create Common electronic platform and for e-learning.
