Participants in the project: this project is intended for students enrolled in European section in English (strengthened Communication in English as a non linguisitic field and English language teaching), and preparing "Baccalaureat professionnel" equivalent to B tech service providing and trade. The degree is the vocational baccalaureat (level IV).
Needs are various:
- enabling our students from European section to improve their linguistic, cultural and professional knowledge and thus enabling them to become true European citizens.
- strengthening their language skills.
-Reinforcing their professional skills and learning new techniques in a professional context , implying a wider sense of adaptability.
-Enhancing social skills by opening pupils to cultural differences, by developing their ability and desire of integration, widening their opportunities for future jobs, acquiring self-confidence, strengthening the capacity to overcome difficulties, getting aware of the goals of their diploma, of a sense of equal opportunities and motivation to overcome the difficulties among students, particularly among young girls, from socially poor backgrounds for whom this experience is an asset for personal development .
The goals and expected results are acquisition of new knowledge and skills on linguistic, cultural and professional fields. This experience also aims at making students responsible and aware of their academic success.
Two periods of 32- day mobility will be held in Cork from May 04th, 2015 to 04th June 2015 and from March 21st, 2016, to April 21st, 2016. Each of these classes will involve 15 students of high school in their first year of B tech service providing and trade. (15 students will start in 2015 and 15 in 2016).
