Title:"European Creative Camp 2016: Europe's' multi-ethnic future"Subject:"Europe's multi-ethnic future" is obviously a consequence of the actual socio-political situation within the EU and focuses on future visions of a young generation of Europeans. Young people from Austria, Germany, Hungary and Slovenia will work together with youth workers and international artists/mentors in the field of socio-political and youth-relevant topics and convert them artistically. The results will be presented to a large public.Project-background:The youth culture project "European Creative Camp 2016" should demonstrate the huge creative potential of young people in Europe. Moreover the project should be the voice for the visions, needs and new work and life concepts of young people in a common peaceful and multi-ethnic Europe. The project involves as well a group of young asylum seekers located in Germany, which contributes as a special touch to the whole project making first hand experience and a direct dialogue between european citizens and asylum seekers possible and adding in that way credibility to the outcomes.Project objectives:- "European Creative Camp 2016" - is a creative platform - Real, direct dialogue between young Europeans and young asylum seekers- It aims to support the development of youth culture in the common culture region of South-East Europe- Promoting inter-cultural dialogue and active citizenship by means of creativity and culture- Dynamic platform of youth culture- Encouraging networking, mobility and cooperations of organizations in the field of youth- Encouraging activities to widen the visibility of activities and work in a field of youth- Competences in business relevant activities (eventmanagament, ...) and inovations- Communications technology - improving media literacy- Raising awareness towards history as condition to imagine a constructive futureParticipants:36 participants from Austria, Germany, Hungary and Slovenia aged between 13 and 30 as well as 4 youth-workers and 5 internationale artists/mentors will attend this Youth Exchange.The young people will be composed of pupils, students, apprentices, socially deprived teenagers as well as young people from a migration background and Youths with disabilities.Description of activities:- Workshops about history: "Migration in human history" - Perspectives for a new Europe.- Workshops: artistic implementation of themes and visions- Workshops: Introduction on the history and symbolic of socially and politically engaged art practices, juridical basics- Workshops: Practical exercises: How to do sketches, Master Pieces, Methods of writing, Video-cutting and Computer-graphics, How to write and realise concepts- Realization of worked out concepts in public spaces : Murales, Performances, etc ...- Exhibition and presentation: "Europa tomorrow" with works of all participants- Final conference with follow up activities: multimedia-catalog, documentation, ...- Internationale exhibition and presentation besides Germany also in Slovenia, Austria, and Hungary.Project realization:The coordinator of "European Creative Camp 2016" is Rado Carlo Poggi, economist and political analist with long time experience in project management in the field of youth culture, arts and culture.The expert organizational team in place and as well as a trainee program for young cultural managers ensure the implementation of the project at the highest level.Brief description of expected results and impacts:- Art and creative work of young people in public space are strong signs, and act as ambassadors of the ideas and visions of young people in Europe- Studying of creativity and culture opens new ways of intercultural communication- Youth acquire skills in teamwork, solidarity, social responsibility, intercultural understanding, dialogue, social integration, languages, ...- The platform and node for young innovative art, culture and youth culture in Europe Long-term benefits:- Young people understand Europe as a common social model, where each contributes its own strengths and ideas- Young people from different countries develop new solidarity and discover Europe as an opportunity for a fair coexistence- "European Creative Camp 2016" as a "think tank" for new concepts of life in peaceful and sustainable societies
