The Partnership will develop a European Action Leadership Toolkit (EALT) for all to enhance and sustain their professional and personal expertise in the field of leadership from August 2010 to July 2012.This project will enable participants to expand, develop and share their leadership and management skills and experience for their own continuous professional development (CPD) and ensure the learning is passed on to learners, managers and other local stakeholders.There will be 4 partners involved, Greece, Netherlands, Poland and the UK (the coordinating partner) The project will establish and embed a professional network of shared leadership practice and expertise. This will be done through benchmarking existing leadership practices, sharing a range of best practices across Europe and identifying methods, theories and practices in improving the quality and innovation of curriculum delivery in vocational education and training. Various mediums will be used, visits to partners institutions, project meetings, staff exchanges, learning activities and research to explore a range of practical strategies to inform this unique Leadership toolkit. The partnership will design and develop a toolkit including a CD, electronic based training materials to share and disseminate throughout partnership colleges to support delivery and assessment of leadership and management qualifications. All learning materials will be available on participating organisation’s platforms and specialised educational portals. Institute of Leadership and Management Accreditation (ILM) will be sought for the ELAT. The project will be managed on a partnership basis with agreed roles and responsibilities to ensure its effective implementation. The working language will be English.
