San Andrés y Sauces is a rural municipality in the Northeast of La Palma island, in the Canary Islands, Ultra-Peripheric Region from Spain and, therefore, of the European Union.Our imunicipality is known for its vegetation, especially the traditional cultivation of bananas, as well as Los Tilos forest, forest of the Third Era, birthplace of the World's Biosphere Reserve which today extends all of the surface of La Palma island.This project is based on an activity of youth exchange of 22 young people aged between 14 and 19 years, and 4 leaders of Group of Spain and Finland, in the municipality of San Andrés y Sauces.The objectives of this project are:-Learning to live together in a multi-cultural European society formed by young people of different identities, ethnic groups, beliefs, social class, gender and sexual orientation, promoting social inclusion and respect for all youth.-Improve the ability of communication in foreign language (English) and to express and interpret concepts, our opinions, facts and feelings in oral and written form.-Acquire and develop creativity, innovation, ideas, and skills to plan and manage projects; strategies to promote youth employability in relation to environmental conservation and sustainable development, promoting the acquisition of habits of responsible consumption, healthy lifestyle and entrepreneurial attitudes.The activities are based on the methodology of non-formal education, especially the active-participating-cooperative learning, giving opportunity to spaces for reflection to facilitate the learning process. With these activities we try to show the resources provided by the natural environment of the island of La Palma, as opportunity employability and entrepreneurship, acquiring the experience and learning of different point of view of young Europe slabs. We also want to emphasize the importance of social inclusion of todosas young slabs, knowing our social rights and acquiring skills to promote it. On the other hand, the fact of this international project, provides the opportunities to acquire the skills and tools necessary for the development of the ability to communicate in a foreign language.Among the benefits we will obtain in the medium and long term are:-Exchange of experiences on the different social realities of young slabs in Europe, promoting their inclusion into society through the cross-cultural knowledge, cooperative work, analysis of stereotypes, knowledge of social rights and their awareness.-Acquisition of new points of view about the opportunities of youth employability related to sustainable development, the conservation of the environment and healthy and environmentally friendly consumption habits.-Development of communication skills in foreign language with equal slabs.
