Project "I am the volte-face"The project "I am the volte-face" will be put into practice throughout three months and it forsees to include 30 young people,at the age from 18 to 25 years who are part of our active youth association. The participants will be indentified with the help of the "Sports and youths politics" department of Plovdiv's municipality and our partner organizations.Throughout the weeks from 18.07.2011 to 31.07.2011 a study will be released through teams of young people formed beforehand which purpose will be to identify the problems in these four different areas:" "Sports""Free time politics"" "Volunteer:make a difference"" "Work with volunteers"The concluding event will take place at 12th of august in the Plovdiv city garden. The aim of the event is to be presented good volunteer practices on attractive way and with the active participation of young people, who have participated in the research, as well as NGO's, working with volunteers.Aim of the project:The project "I am the volte-face" will popularize the dialogue between youth organizations and the volunteering as a mean of acquisition and development of personal and professional will help the process of inclusion of young people in activities that develop their key social competency.The project "I am the volte-face" includes the following activities:Activity 1.-01.06.2011A preliminary work meeting- A presentation of the project and the included activities.Activity 2.-06.06.2011 to 10.06.2011Work meeting: Presenting the project idea before the young children, living in institutions. Activity 3.-13.06.2011 to 24.06.2011Identification of young people, living in institutions, who will participate, together with the volunteers from BBBS, in the project activities.Activity 4: -29.06.2011Training: Team building. Planning of initiatives and campaigns. Effective communication.Activity 5.-04.07.2011 to 15.07.2011Elaboration of the instruments for the Youth Survey.Activity 6.-18.07.2011Official start of the Youth Survey .Activity .-18.07.2011 to 31.07.2011Youth Survey' Weeks.A previously formed 4 teams of 6 people will use different methods for gathering informationActivity 8.-19.07.2011 to 31.07.2011Control meetings.Activity9.-1.08.2011 to 10.08.2011Work meetings / focus-groups/Each team will hold its own work meetings to discuss the way of generalization of the gathered materials from the survey and will share ideas how the project will be presented on the Round table and on the Workshop.Activity 10.-11.08.2011Round table "I am the volte-face"The teams will present the results of their two-week survey of the life-organization of their peers.Activity 11.-12.08.2011WorkshopThe event foresees organizing outdoors studios for exchanging experience and ideas, photography exhibition,reflecting the project's activities.
