EUROPATHWAYS & EUROPASS will develop an outline mobility model to encourage innovative student pathways and placements within European companies as a means of promoting the use of EUROPASS training and improving the transparency of qualifications across Europe.Elements to be contained within the mobility model include; an outline concept of an innovative company (identified through its capacity to offer high quality placements), improved qualitative provision for student placements, development of new mechanisms and tools (for personnel involved with or having responsibility for student mobility) and clarification of criteria for access to Leonardo mobility grants.Proposed project outcomes, in addition to the outline mobility model, include further series' of information on educational systems in partner countries and on career guidance provision within these countries, guidelines for the design, follow-up and evaluation of European pathways within companies and reports on placement evaluation and transit (education to employment) strategies.Dissemination of the project results is planned through placement of the materials onto a dedicated project website. Other proposed awareness raising activities include the hosting of conferences, training courses and round tables across the variety of target sectors, the release of articles to relevant press & journals and the production of a project information leaflet to inform upon the activities and achievements of the project.
