"Europe on the plate - International placements opportunity for high school students" is a project whose main objective is the modernization of vocational education by the introduction of a European plan for school development through the mobility of students and teachers by organizing internships for 24 students in Italian companies, and 24 internships at German companies. Experience gained by the students will be investment in the future to align and strengthen competitiveness in the labor market for future graduates of technical school.The specific objectives are:1) Creation of technical graduate profile of the food industry, as an employee sought in European companies with competence: linguistic, professional, prepared to work in a multicultural environment.2) Improving the skills of non-formal learners, ie. The independence, ability to work under new conditions, the practical ability to communicate abroad.3) Increasing the attractiveness of teaching., The introduction of pedagogical innovations substantive, organizational,4) Vocational training based on the experience of international professional mobility,5) Getting stakeholders to raise standards of practice at European level, to compare the organization of internships in the applicant organization and the partner (job shadowing), meetings with employers in the industries of food to program evaluation practices.6) Acquisition of partners for foreign organizations and language training in the future to raise the quality of education in the school.To participate in the project will be selected 48 learners in professions diet techniques and catering services and food technology technician for class II and III. Students due to the language of instruction in classes, ie. For English - techniques, nutrition and food service will select the internship to Italy, while German language - food technology technician will leave for an internship in Germany.In addition to the obvious benefits for students we expect that through to the project will enrich the image of the facility in the region, the country and the international market. Through the implementation of project activities on foreign placements of our students in Italy / Germany, corrected will be included in the European Development Plan School of areas, ie. Intercultural awareness, language skills, creating offer foreign practices, establishing international cooperation and to prepare students (future graduates) to compete in the open European labor market.The main outcome for the school will be the experience gained in the implementation of foreign practices that contribute to the development of international cooperation in the establishment and courageous action by the school authorities with new challenges in this regard. As a result, we hope that in the future we will be able to offer our students, or new candidates, not just practice in local companies, but also abroad. Surely such a varied and extensive range of education, which further strengthen promotional activities, positive impact on the image of the school. We will be more attractive and competitive in the mainstream, which in turn will help in attracting more candidates among middle school students.On the other hand, students will become more open to new challenges and compete in the open European labor market.After completion of the project will be prepared a booklet containing good practice placements and suggestions related to the vulnerability of jurisdiction for students of technical schools and vocational schools. On the basis of materials collected by the students and the partner will be prepared promotional video. It will be a material incentive to read the results of the project. Through to its accessible form, and the inclusion of interviews with project participants will show the realities of foreign practices and will encourage further potential project participants to join this kind of initiative.
