"Europa ist Hier! (Europe is here!) is the third period of our project for implementing the structured dialogue in Hanover. The applicating organisation is the Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Evangelischen Jugend in Deutschland e.V. (aej) in partnership with the Evangelischen Stadtjugenddienst Hannover (esjd). The city of Hanover supports our project and the head of department of social themes and youth is our patron. The aim of "Europa ist Hier!" is to offer a sustainable dialogue between young people and politicians, focussing on the main theme of the 4th cycle 'youth empowerment' and to continue dialogues out of the 3rd cycle. Our peer groups for those dialogues are youth groups of the protestant youth ,other youth organisations and free youth groups. Also we will organize an "European Day" at an european school in Hanover and will continue our interactive homepage with e.g. an european based webapp for Hanover (www.hier-ist-europa.de). Ten youth ambassadors will attend the whole project as peer-multiplicators and experts in the themes europe and youth. At the beginning of the project they will be scholared in a seminar for this assignment. For the first time in our project we will have an international youth meeting in Hanover with a group of young people from Lithuania. We will share and develope our experiences of connecting young people in politicians in- and outside the structures of the structured dialogue. All of our outcomes will be included into the national consultations that will be discussed by the european youth forum at the european congresses of the 4th cycle.
