In this European Voluntary Service a young person from Bosnia will experience for one year the daily life in a German nursery in a rural area. The volunteer will talk and report about Bosnia and the life there by little games and songs. In this way the volunteer will learn about children's life in Germany and as well make Europe experienceable for the children and for his-/herself. In the morning the volunteer will accompany a certain group of children and will have space to bring in his or her ideas in an appropriate way. In the afternoon the main task will be to reflect the work of the day and to plan the following days. Specific pedagogical support will be offered by the full-time working colleagues the whole stay. The volunteer will be living in Halle. Charged by the coordinating organisation Friedenskreis Halle e.V., there is a variety of opportunities to get to know other European volunteers and young people in the city. By this the volunteer can easily get in touch with the civic and social life and experience the European citizenship from another perspective. With help of this project the volunteer receives key competences, which will have a supporting impact on his/her future private and professional life.
