Our school "VAsile Conta", from Iassy,is a secondary educational institution, with primary and secondary classes. The activity of our educational institution takes place in two buildings, Building A- which has functioned since 1982 and building B which has functioned since 1892. In 2015-2016, the number of the school population is approximately of 863 of students with a number of 60 people, representing 44 teachers and auxilary staff.Our school is in the same manner an integrative school, having qualified specialists on integration, logopedy, staff expertise on special needs(CES). Yearly, our school has sucessfully integrated a number of 18 CES students. Equally, our institution has developed different kinds of partnerships with institutions recognized in the field of education, such as:Foundation "Hope and Solidarity", Iassy,has developed lessons on dependence, on addicts(drugs, alcohol), The Library Gh. Asachi- activities designed to encourage literacy, both in English and in Romanian language, ISU- an institution which designed activites meant to prevent the fire and also activities meant to develop life abilities in situations of earthquake. 1.The objectives of the project are:1.The improvement of the management competences, increasing the EU dimension through innovative strategies, adopting 1-2 new management strategies, the need of assimilating European models of good practice.2. Efficient communication, with visible results, behaviour results of the relationship between teacher and parent, parents and learners, teachers an learners- teacher's need to approachs special techniques for children with special needs too.3.Improving 5 teachers' styles, adopting new strategies of teaching besides those classical ones. The classical methods do not cover anymore the demands of the new society.4. The development of the intercultural and pedagogical abilities-observing the classes- improving the teaching style with 2-3 methods and at thesame time the poposal addressed towards the school comission of education to be adopted, if applicable, at an unitary level, even the year after the mobilities from Finland.2. Finland - 5 teachers- institutional management, improving the teaching activity through innovative methods, 2.Italy- 5 teachers-communication in teaching activities, 3.Irland- 3 teachers- the cooperative methods of teaching and learning, 4.Portugal-6 teachers- conflict management, communication in the classroom, group work- structured courses5. The methodologies used: is monitoring, evaluation,pre, while and post and dissemination of the competences gained. 6. The results; the improvement of the management, adopting 1-2 strategies of internal organisation, the improvement of the teaching/learning through 2-3 methods of teaching, the organisation of activities for dissemination with impact on students, parents and local community. Workshops- at the Library Gh. Asachi, Iassy 40 leaners, 2 English teachers,- an open lesson- using 2-3 methods of teaching for a number 35 learners, realising a number of 150 leaflets and 2 banners posted at the entrance of the school, The video- flashmob-250 students involved, in the courtyard, realising 2 words ERASMUS PLUS out of humar bodies. As far as long time benefits are concerned, the school will apply for a KA2 project , the improvement of the teaching/learning methods and last but not the least, the openess for other forms of financial support for our school's activities.
