Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Jan 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The main objective of the project is that young people can see the way of self-development in the European Union . A total of 140 young people, aged 16-19, secondary school students from Estonia and Greece take part in the project. The project will run for 15 months, starting in September 2014 and finishing in November 2015. The project will discuss four topics related to the human rights issues (European citizenship, democracy, human rights and sport). The meetings with the participants will be held monthly as follows: firstly, we will meet to discuss one of the human rights issue with the help of informal methods; secondly, we will organise an event for the young people from both countries; finally, the participants will be given freedom to choose and organise an event on the topic of human rights issues. In order to discuss the project tasks and effectively fulfill them, two international meetings with the partners will be held, one in Estonia and the other one in Greece. Besides, a small training for the participants will be organised on the topic of project writing opportunities. As a result, the participants will do a new project which is intended to be the continuation of the current project. Our role is to coordinate and guide the activities. Feedback and self-analysis enable participants to make Russian-English brochures where the participants will describe their needs, views and impressions in relation to the project. This will affect the future development of youth work both at local and international level. The youth development and youth opinion of the European Union changing development can be traced in videos. The interviews with the participants will be held two times: at the beginning and in the end of the project.
