The project "EUROMEDITERRANEA 2009: building peace trough youth cooperation" is the forth edition of meeting of youth and cooperation organizations of the Mediterranean area that is implemented in Barcelona sicen 2003. This year the proyect is coordinated by Nexes with the support of Barcelona. Youth Council to provide an opportunity to the participants of youth associations to meet other organizations working in the peace building field in their countries as well as working in the field of international cooperation. The meeting will be hold as a 5 days seminar for 27 participants, comingo from 17 Europe and Mediterranean countries. The main idea is to share best practices based on the participation in the projects of peace building, that's why we will begin finding out a common definition of what is a conflict, peace, democracy and participation to develop a joined manueal of best practices from the project participants to other organisations working in this field. There will be two different methods of work used during the seminar: in the mornings - participation in the dynamics, experience panel, open spaces, etc.that will help to get to know each other better and share the knowledge and experience, and in the evenings, visiting associations and institutions, getting to know other projects and participating in the debates that are opened for all the citizenchip.
