EuroMed Social Network for Synergy on Youth Participation

The project takes its title as the name and inspiration to the participating organizations and also YPIDA as applicant, after several years of observing and analyzing the changes in social understanding of EU and its image on Mediterranean countries as well as the World. In addition to that the problems of young people in EuroMed region in past years and their obstacle in participation to decision making processes and inclusion to societies as such.
From the previous accession stages and current integration processes have been ongoing with ups and downs as a result of internal and external factors such as lack of intercultural understanding/dialogue, economical crisis, no fully political and economical unity, future dilemmas, and dynamics of the EuroMed regions blocking or slowing down the speed of policies and effecting on societies and youth in particular. Today young people facing with difficulties within this struggle and having forced to move to other countries however still facing with big social and economical problems which is also in most of the researches highest rates of youth unemployment.
The project aims to focus on participation of young people in decision making process and social life and societies as well as while focusing on problems of young people (unemployment, social inclusion, others) in partner countries within the EuroMed region and their social inclusion within the framework of reclaiming EU and its values, both by the member states and also the neighboring and candidate countries and through social media platforms create this understanding keep going to create NEW SYNERGY and mutual understanding between young people and give the possibility to cooperate or define mutual projects, youth participation activities by getting skills and knowledge during this training. In short, to know youth worker, expert, facilitator from participating 12 countries Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, Malta, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine from EU, neighboring and Mediterranean countries, learning from each other the experiences and traditions, systems and many other aspects in terms of youth participation in detail and their current problems, try to define mutual understanding from similarities and differences of the problems, and start this synergy towards common youth participation and future cooperation initiatives through social media. This platforms will be the base that we built on together between the two regions and will built on upcoming future on several other initiatives such as youth unemployment, entrepreneurship, social inclusion and end up with the future final conference and publications as result of long term cooperation and partnership. All future steps will be planned and responsibilities will be given during this training course EUMSN for better future for youth and societies by bridging and creating synergy through this social network we plan to built a bright future to both regions.
