EURENERGY – European Energy Network

The EURENERGY project aims at introducing new teaching and organisational learning solutions based upon innovative ICT learning environments, and focussing upon safe and alternative energy. The project will result in specialised training software and a series of ten training modules covering topics such as technical legislation and new technologies in the field of renewable energies, energetic waste conversion and integrated management and telemeasures in the energy and environmental sector. Additionally, the project will produce a series of individual Case Studies and series of user guidelines on issues such as energy purchase in a free market, territorial energy planning and access to European funding in the energy field. All products will be made available on CD-Rom in both EN & IT. Primary project beneficiaries include trainers, young people in initial vocational training, self-employed persons, SME managers and local authority personnel focussing upon the field of energy management. Dissemination will rely upon the creation of a local/national network in each participating country, the establishment of a dedicated project website, the hosting of conferences at a local, national and transnational level and the release of articles to specialist press.
