This purpose of the project is to develop a set of learning and teaching material for Information Technologies (ICT) professionals. Such material would allow students at vocational school and early in university, their ICT teachers, self-learners, employees in core ICT positions, and other stakeholders to study successfully and pass the examination for obtaining the «European Certificate of Informatics Professionals» (EUCIP). This certificate is widely accepted in the EU, but there are no relevant teaching materials available for it. In fact, the teaching and learning process in relation to it is not standardised throughout Europe as there is no obligatory professional standards in EU. The project will provide the following expected results: learning material that will cover 400 hours of study, and which follow the EUIP modules, an interactive electronic textbook and tests, course material for teachers, pilot training for students, a didactic methodology. These will be available electronically, but also in hard copy, in five EU languages, namely the languages of the partners' countries, plus English.
