This project set a target of putting in place all technical and human conditions that contribute to the development of flood prevention and are needed to provide supplementary services to the population in relation to flood protection including accurate and fast information supply, rescue and safe accommodation. At present, there is no disaster protection co-operation between Hungary and Serbia, although the state borders cannot stop the natural forces. The support helped to establish cross-border co-operation within the total range of prevention, intervention and restoration.
