The context where this project is carried out is a High School which develops a bilingual program with dfferent workshops, in a small town with around 6,000 inhabitants, with students from all over the area. After analysing the development of the program in the school, it has been detected that it is essential to improve the quality as well as the sustenance of it, being necessary to do so a training project for their participants, bearing also in mind the concept of European citizenship which must prevail in our teaching model. There are 4 teachers involved , with a wide experience in the education field, one of them is a specialist in the English foreign language, other specialist in Music, the third one in Biology and the last one in Chemistry. The activities in the project are quite diverse, weekly meetings and attendance to different courses and seminars in the school, as well as attendance to courses abroad to widen the vision of the different teaching approaches and educational systems of those countries. Exchange of impressions through the e-twinning web page with teachers from all over Europe, the preparation of a dossier with the activities and workshops carried out in the school. As a result the teachers will adquire and improve their skills, and therefore that will be shown in the everyday reality of the classroom, this way the students will also get benefit in all the aspects, hoping that they develop a new concept of the teaching and learning of a foreing language as well as the idea of European citizenship and identity, becoming more motivated and involved in the teaching -learning process. With this project we expect to get above all an improvement in the key comeptences of the students in the long-run, not only in the linguistic field but also in the rest, besides an improvement in the methodology from the teachers attending the courses and the rest of colleagues from the high school. In the long-run we hope to be aware of the importance of the continuous training essential in the educational field due to the different changes and advances of the European society from which we all are part, therefore the benefit will be double way, so much for the school as for the students.
