ERASMUS + INSERTION AND EMPLOYABILITY FOR YOUTH

One more year we have obtained very good results with the European programs carried out in our Professional Training Centre San Francisco de Sales- El Buen Amigo in Córdoba. Our students of Professional Training students who have completed their studies in Europe have improved their liability to get a job and competitivity, offering an additional value to their training as future professionals. Our project has been performed by 15 students of the following professional studies: Administrative Managing, Commerce and Attention to dependant people. They performed their las part of their studies in some working posts (FCT) in some enterprises in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Our project has allowed our students to perform their workshop period in some enterprises in the United Kingdom for a month as part of their Formation in working posts period (FCT) in the cities of Belfast and Glasgow. It is important to highlight the effect on the long term in the progress of internationalisation of our School, due to the higher number of movilities for the teachers in the next two years. As a complement for their workshop our students have received 20 hours of linguistic, cultural and pedagogical formation, before any movility. The main aim is to improve the students’ liability to be employed, and their competitivity and we are absolutely satisfied with the results obtained as 8 of the participants in the programme have already got a job, and another 2 of them are planning to go back to the U.K. Apart from this main aim, there were some others which have been fully accomplished: • Putting into practice the knowledge acquired in our school and in the Spanish workshop, as well as adapting to different ways of working, and of organising their duties. • Acquisition of new competences, professional capabilities, and the abilities to adapt to a different linguistic, cultural and professional environment. • Obtaining the flexibility, aptitudes and competences needed to favour the movility in the frame of the professional market in Europe. • Development of an autonomous working style, but, at the same time, being part as a working team, in order to perform a series of duties in a competent way. • Improvement their level of English, especially on the communicative level. • Personal development on a psychological, social and cultural levels. From the institutional point of view, for our school this Project has been stimulating and very interesting for the whole school community, especially for those students in need of getting a job.
