Erasmus for VIP Project is run by Ofensiva Tinerilor Association, youth organisation from Romania in partnership with 4 organisation such as, Magnites Tifli (Greece) Association of People with Disabilities Vision Magnesia; Pancyprian organization of the Blind POT is a ngo from Cyprus; NART - National Association of Resource Teachers Bulgaria, a national NGO for professionals working for full and quality integration, inclusion and education of children with different abilities and Center for Youth Activism CYA KRIK from Rep. of Macedonia.This initiative wants to explore the real context of integration of visually impaired youngsters and to design powerful resources for the youth workers and youth organisation in order to remove their fear to integrate visually impaired youngsters in the non formal education and mobility .The overall objective of the project Erasmus 4 VIP is to develop, during 24 month, methodologies, human resources, tools, and recommendations, dedicated to fostering participation of visually impaired youngsters in the learning mobilities through Erasmus + . Emphasis is given to the youth workers willing to increase the capabilities in facilitating activities focused on inclusion of visually impaired youngsters.The specific objectives of Erasmus for VIP are:-To foster the capabilities of youth organisations to include visually impaired youngsters in learning mobility projects and non formal education activities-To intensify transfers of experience, knowledge and know how between youth organizations and public institutions working with visually impaired youngsters-To jointly design and exchange methodological tools and recommendations to efficiently support the youth workers who include visually impaired youngsters in their activities-To identify innovative practices in the integration of visually impaired youngsters in non formal education activities.Within core project activities partners will develop intellectual outputs: I.O.1) Survey and research on integration of visually-impaired youngsters with Recommendation paper;Will strengthen capacity of youth NGO's regarding the work with visually-impaired youngsters: providing (I.O.2)1 Training kit including: rationale, training objectives, agenda, methods to be used and (I.O.3)1 Youth-work methods brochure with 20methods and tools adapted for the work with visually impaired; I.O.4) 1 web-Platform for diffusion and information of outputs of the project, sharing, communication and empowerment for youth ngo and relevant stakeholders. I.O.5) IT&C4VIP Panel of e-applications to support and assist youth workers, to be used by those who are working with v.i.p, or by v.i youths. Project will implement structured research for survey, non-formal methodologies in working with participants, project cycle management for achieving objectives. Leader will assume transversal responsibilities, such as, project management, quality and evaluation system, visibility and dissemination and multiplication strategy for activities afore mentioned to achieve estimated results and ensure quantity and quality targets tailored according to the needs of final users.Every partner will organize 2 interactive workshops addressed to youth workers and special trainers at national level. Every partner will organize will organize a multiplying event with interactive feature, in order to maximize the level of transferring final intellectual outputs. 40 participants attending to multiplying event will be: youth NGOs, youth workers, institutions, policy makers from educational and social care system. Direct beneficiaries of the project are:1. Youth NGOs who are working with visually impaired youths or those who want to integrate partially sighted/visually impaired youngsters, to strengthen their capabilities to integrate their beneficiaries in nonformal activities and learning mobilities, to increase the visibility of their actions and to facilitate the international cooperation among actors from different EU countries2.Youth workers/trainers/facilitators - increasing their competencies regarding the specific approaches related to integration of visually impaired youths in their activities. Increasing their access to resources, methods and tools: training kit and Compendium with methods and tools3. Special schools for blind in project's countries and RO for increasing the level of using the non formal education and development of new partnership at local and international levels with NGOs or other key actors in field on non formal education 4. Visually impaired youngsters - all the project is designed in order to increase their level of participation in non-formal education activities and learning mobilities.5.Other private and public stakeholders (youths, parents, policy makers, authorities, private sector, general public): the focus will be to increase the awareness and to make them realize the capabilities of visually impaired youths, not only the disability.
