PROJECT
FINISHED
The project will enable a realization of vocational trainings abroad for our students who study to be logistics, computer scientists , qualified hairdresser , catering industry technician. The project includes the organization of four trainings . In every of these trainings we expect 16 participants. The students’ vocational training will be in two pedagogic carers .
The training programme has been created in close collaboration with employers basing on core curriculum, i.e. Vocational training. Thanks to the foreign traineeship, the students will be strongly supported in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications in a new vocational environment. The effect of these activities should be their further personal development. We would like to encourage our students to enhance their activeness in learning of modern languages and indicate possibilities of finding an employment not only in Poland but also in foreign countries.
The participation in the training becomes a great chance to familiarize the students with the vocational environment, the culture of work and its organization in other countries, encourage to the openness and cooperation. Furthermore, the internship enables participants to boost their adoptive abilities and make them aware of mental and cultural differences. We meet students’ requirements, who want to learn practical knowledge of profession .
During the foreign vocational trainings, the students will broaden factual knowledge in their occupations, get work organization skills and obtain professional experience. Moreover, trainees will acquaint themselves with norms and procedures applying in the EU countries. It will undoubtedly have an influence on their mobility and contribute to the increase of self-esteem. The participation in foreign traineeship helps raise competitiveness of our youth in Polish labour market as well in the European one. Additionally, the foreign training will give the students the chance to develop their foreign language skills, especially in a specialist language. The young people will become convinced that the knowledge of foreign languages is significant for both career development and successful enter in the labour market.
Having experience coming from the projects realized during the previous years, profit from the evaluation conclusions, independently from the main aim of the project – the realization of work training – we would like our students to get some additional benefits from the practice in a foreign country.
What we have in mind is giving help to young inexperienced students in breaking the language borders and developing their self-confidence. Residing in a new work environment, abroad promote gaining skills of adapting to new situations. It also rises the feeling of responsibility and teaches team work. We believe that any additional skills should go with profession skills. We also hope that that well motivated, self-confident students will more courageously enter the job market and will be more willing to get further education. The superior objective of school education is to prepare students for effective functioning in their adult lives. The crucial competences in the form of knowledge, abilities and attitudes which are appropriate to every situation have fundamental meaning for every society based on knowledge. That is our noble purpose while the project implementation. We couldn’t agree more with Peter Druder who said : ,,The coming time is a time of the office worker who apart from the formal education possess the ability of applying the practical knowledge and constant learning’’.
